The Richard G. Hankett Memorial Grant Foundation (RGHGF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. Donations are tax deductible.
The RGHGF is based in the United States and can receive donations from donors located in the United States only. Currently, the RGHGF does not accept donations from the following states due to high overhead costs associated with filing and/or annual fees: AK, AL, HI, ME, NH, TN, RI, UT, VA, and Washington, DC.
The individuals involved with the RGHGF are not responsible for the final outcomes from the research individual or individuals it awards money to. RGHGF cannot guarantee any rates of overhead costs between the awardees and the academic institution with which they are involved with. While the RGHGF organizers will attempt to minimize overhead on their end, any legal fees or other fees associated with the organizing and running of the grant process may be taken out of the sum of public donations. The hosting institution (University, accredited college) of grant awardees must agree to the terms of the research agreement prior to accepting the award.
